Ambedkar jayanti 2025: On the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the creator of the Constitution, there is a national holiday on 14 April every year as Ambedkar Jayanti. There is a national holiday on this day all over India, especially- In Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, programs are organized in his honor and processions are taken out.
According to the Central Government, due to Ambedkar Jayanti National Holi Day, many types of services and institutions in both government and private will remain closed on this day. On this day, public and private banks will have holidays in most states. Along with this, there will be a holiday in post office state and center -run services, courts, PSUs, schools and stock markets.
