Dr. Bhimrao ambedkar marriage life: Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, who is called the creator of modern India, is considered one of the greatest and influential leaders of the country. Bhimrao Ambedkar suffered the pain of caste discrimination and untouchability since childhood. But he did not give up and devoted his entire life to end untouchability and discrimination from the society. He realized that the large population of the country is being kept away from education, respect and development only on the basis of their caste. To change this, he made such a provision in the Constitution so that people of every caste can get the right to education and job.

Ambedkar marries Savita

According to a report by News18, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar married her second marriage to Dr. Savita Kabir on 15 April 1948. Savita was from a Brahmin family and she was a doctor. This marriage took place after the death of Dr. Ambedkar’s first wife Ramabai. His family and some associates were angry with this marriage, as Savita was from a separate community. This resentment remained for a long time. After Dr. Ambedkar’s death on 6 December 1956, his family made some allegations against Savita. These included claims related to property and personal differences. However, these allegations were not publicly discussed publicly.

Dr. Savita Kabir was from a Marathi Brahmin family in Pune. She was very educated. After his early studies in Pune, he did MBBS from Mumbai. In 1947, when she was 38 years old, she began treatment of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. At that time, Dr. Ambedkar was 56 years old. Both came close during treatment.

When Ambedkar hospitalized

In the late 1940s, Dr. Ambedkar was making the Indian Constitution. Then his health started deteriorating. He did not sleep and had pain in his feet. There was some relief from insulin and homeopathic medicines. The doctors advised that they need a partner who can take care of them and also keep medical knowledge. Dr. Savita used to treat him with full hard work. Gradually, his closeness increased. Dr. Ambedkar proposed marriage to Savita, which he accepted. On 15 April 1948, both of them got married at Dr. Ambedkar’s house in Delhi.

Dr. Savita took care of Dr. Ambedkar with full devotion. She was always engaged in her service. Dr. Ambedkar himself praised his hard work and dedication. Savita also supported her social work.
