However, India has also found its way and has increased its exports to many other countries such as UAE, UK, Singapore, Netherlands and countries in the European Union. Apart from these, goods are also being sent from India to many other countries, one of which is China.
India’s exports to China increased
According to Finance Ministry data, China is gradually emerging as a major export destination hub for India. India’s shipments to China have increased by 33 percent to $12.22 billion during April-November of the current financial year 2025-26. The increasing scope of trade between the two countries is indicating a structural change. Data has shown that this increase in exports is due to oil meal, sea-food items, telecom equipments and spices.
business worth billions of dollars
India exported goods worth US $ 9.2 billion during April-November 2024-25. This is much higher than US $ 9.89 billion in April-November 2022-23 and US $ 10.28 billion in 2023-24. The data showed that the huge increase of US$ 12.22 billion in 2025-26 is not only higher than last year’s decline, but is also the highest level in the last four years.
Which things are being exported?
Apart from agricultural products like green gram, dry chilli, oil cake, sea food items like black tiger prawn, vannamei prawn are also exported from India to China.
Apart from these, the products which have seen a rise in shipments in the last eight months in the electronics segment include populated printed circuit boards (exports increased from USD 23.9 million to USD 922.4 million), flat panel display modules and other electrical components for telephony.
Similarly, aluminum and refined copper billets also saw export growth. That is, it is clear from this that export is not limited to only a few things, but its scope is quite large.
