The political atmosphere is heated regarding the civic elections in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Nana Patole has launched a scathing attack on the Mahayuti government and BJP. Talking to IANS in Nagpur, on the news of BJP and AIMIM coming together in the Municipal Corporation elections, he said that this has revealed the real face of both the parties.

Nana Patole said that Congress is contesting the elections of 29 metropolitan municipalities of Maharashtra with full strength. He claimed that Congress has not made any illegal alliance anywhere and the party has entered the election field strictly with its ideology. Patole said that with the coming together of BJP and AIMIM it has become clear that there is no difference between the two. He sarcastically said that earlier Congress used to call AIMIM the ‘B team’ of BJP, but now both are seen openly together.

Such statements are given only to do Hindu-Muslim politics – Nana Patole

Responding to Nitish Rane’s statement related to Pakistan and Quran, Patole said that such statements are given only to do Hindu-Muslim politics and now this thing has become clear to the public. On the possibility of Thackeray brothers coming together, Patole said that Congress has no objection if two brothers or uncle-nephew come together. He also gave the example of Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar.

The democratic system is being weakened – Nana

Accusing Mahayuti, Patole said that pressure is being exerted on the strength of power. Only money is being misused and the democratic system is being weakened.
