While bowling in the first ODI played in Vadodara, Washington was hit in the ribs, after which he walked off the field. BCCI issued an official statement saying that Ayush Badoni has been included in the squad for the remaining two matches of the series.
Ayush Badoni was born on December 3, 1999 in Delhi. The 26-year-old batsman plays for Delhi team in domestic, he is part of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL. He has joined the ODI national team for the first time.
