Bangladesh’s lies seem to be exposed on the controversy over T20 World Cup 2026. In fact, Bangladesh Cricket Board had expressed concern over the safety of its players and sports fans in India. Regarding this subject, the Sports Advisor of Bangladesh Government had claimed that ICC has accepted those security concerns. But according to a media report, ICC has completely rejected this claim of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh exposed!
On January 12, Azif Nazrul, sports advisor to the Bangladesh government, had told reporters that there could be a threat to the safety of Bangladeshi sports fans in India and the ICC has also accepted this.
Some ICC sources said that no such letter has been written by the security team of the International Cricket Council. According to sources, ICC may issue an official statement on this controversy in the next few days.
Bangladesh had claimed this
Bangladesh government’s sports advisor Azif Nazrul had made a huge claim. He said that the ICC security team has written a letter saying that if Mustafizur Rahman is included in the team again and Bangladeshi fans roam around in India wearing their country’s jersey, then the safety of Bangladeshi players and fans may be at risk.
Citing these things, Ajit Nazrul said that if Bangladesh team goes to India to play World Cup matches, then the players will not be safe there. Along with this, he also took a dig at ICC.
This entire controversy started with the release of Mustafizur Rahman by KKR. After that Bangladesh demanded to shift the T20 World Cup matches to Sri Lanka and also banned the telecast of IPL in their country.
