Amid ongoing nationwide protests in Iran, exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has demanded action from America. Raza Pahlavi appealed to US President Donald Trump to take immediate action against Iran instead of delaying it, so that Iran’s Islamic rule can be ended soon.
We are in constant contact with Trump administration: Reza Pahlavi
Reza Pahlavi demanded US intervention in an interview given to CBS News on Monday (January 12, 2026). “We need action,” Pahlavi said. The best way to ensure that casualties in Iran are minimized is to intervene as soon as possible, so that this Islamic regime finally collapses and all of the difficulties we are facing end.
He said that we have been in touch with the Trump administration, although he did not share details of the conversation. He also alleged that the Islamic Republic’s recent contact with the US was aimed at controlling the protests taking place across the country, which he said could pose a threat to the rule of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Red lines drawn by Trump have been crossed: Pahlavi
Reza Pahlavi claimed that the red lines drawn by US President Trump have already been crossed. He alleged that Tehran is trying to convince the international community that it is ready for talks to end the unrest. He said, ‘The game changer step in this whole incident will be that this regime understands that it can no longer rely on a sustained campaign of repression without a reaction from the world.’
When asked whether he wanted regime change in Iran, Pahlavi said that Trump’s show of solidarity towards the people of Iran means ultimately supporting the demand of the people of Iran and their demand is that the Islamic regime led by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei should be removed from power in Iran.
