Problems are increasing at the box office for Prabhas’ horror comedy film ‘The Raja Saab’. The earnings of this huge budget film are continuously falling and there is no sign of any improvement in it. Even after five days of release, the film has not been able to cross the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide, nor has it been able to leave behind the earnings of the flop film ‘Game Changer’ on Sankranthi.

Box office collection of ‘The Raja Saab’
‘The Raja Saab’ earned Rs 100 crore worldwide on its first day, Friday, giving the film a good opening for the pre-Pongal/Sankranti weekend. However, there was a huge decline in the film’s earnings on Saturday and Sunday and then the film failed miserably in the Monday test. On Tuesday, the earnings of ‘The Raja Saab’ fell further and it earned only Rs 4.85 crore nett in India. The earning of ‘The Raja Saab’ in India has now reached Rs 119.45 crore (143.25 crore gross collection).

In the overseas market, the film directed by Maruthi has grossed around $4 million, thanks to a strong opening day in the US. With this, the three-day global gross collection of the film was Rs 175 crore.

The further journey of Raja Saab difficult
This journey seems difficult for Raja Saheb. By the fifth day, Salaar had crossed the Rs 425 crore mark worldwide, while Kalki 2898 AD was heading towards Rs 600 crore. In comparison to these, The Raja Saab is far behind. Its worldwide collection is still less than Ram Charan’s Game Changer. Shankar’s film had earned Rs 186 crore last year and was considered one of the biggest box office flops in the history of Telugu cinema. Unfortunately, The Raja Saheb is also following the same path.

About The Raja Saab
Directed by Maruti, Prabhas had created excitement with his return to the family entertaining genre after more than a decade with The Raja Saab. After Bahubali series, all the films of Prabhas were full of action. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhi Agarwal, Riddhi Kumar, Boman Irani and Zarina Wahab. However, after receiving mostly negative reviews from critics, The Raja Saab flopped miserably at the box office.
