Maruti said that it hurts a lot when your hard work becomes a joke on social media. It takes at least 3 years of hard work for the audience to watch the screen for 3 hours. Maruti said, ‘When work is made fun of like this and is easily dismissed. So it hurts a lot, even if you choose to remain silent. Creators mostly keep their pain to themselves instead of showing it publicly.

According to the Indian Express report, while defending his film he further said, ‘The audience watched The Raja Saab in a festive mood. They were expecting light entertainment. Due to this, they may not be able to connect deeply with the narrative of the film. Maruti said that one knows how to balance the things of nature. He said that the time also comes when those who make fun of others also have to see confusion and hardship in their life and they do not even realize that they have to suffer the consequences of their past deeds in this cycle too. He said that this is not a threat or a curse, life goes on like this.

Prabhas’s film The Raja Saab was released on 9 January 2026. The film is made on a big budget of Rs 400 crores. This film is not getting much response at the box office.
