After completion of registration, the application form will be filled by logging in. In this, necessary information related to the child and parents will have to be given and the required documents will have to be uploaded. Since the application process is completely digital, parents will not need to visit any school.

For which classes will the applications be made?

Under this scheme, applications are accepted for admission in Nursery, KG (LKG/UKG) and Class 1 in private schools. Application dates usually fall in the month of February or March. Therefore, parents are advised to keep checking the website of the Directorate of Education regularly, so that they do not miss any important updates.

Documents required for application

Some important documents are required while applying for EWS admission. It is very important to keep them prepared in advance. Such as birth certificate of the child, identity card of the parents or guardian (Aadhaar card, voter ID etc.), residence certificate of Delhi, income certificate, passport size photographs of the child and parents. If the child falls in the disabled category (CWSN), then disability certificate will also be required for him.
