Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda entered the big screen with Twenty One. Twenty One is a biopic about which people were quite excited. But this film has not been able to do anything amazing at the box office. It has also proved difficult for the film to meet its budget. The lifetime worldwide collection of Ikkis has come out and this film has proved to be a huge flop.

Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, Simar Bhatia have been seen playing important roles along with Agastya Nanda in Ikkis. This was the last film of veteran actor Dharmendra, due to which people became very emotional after watching it. Many fans had gone to see Dharmendra on the big screen for the last time. But the film could not perform as well at the box office as the makers had expected.

flopped badly

Talking about the box office collection of Twenty One, according to the report of Pinkvilla, the lifetime collection of Twenty One is only Rs. 33 crores. Most of which has been earned in India only. This overseas film could not impress people at all.

Ikkis has collected around Rs 31.20 crore in India. It had earned Rs 21.50 crore in the opening week itself. Since then there was a severe decline. In the second week the film could earn only Rs 4.50 crore. Talking about overseas collection, it has been 2.50 crores.

The beginning of the film was okay, but it could not last long and very soon its pace slowed down. If the film had got good word-of-mouth, it would have had a chance of making a good total.

A major reason for the film directed by Sriram Raghavan flopping at the box office is the mixed reactions and criticism regarding its story. Although some people liked the film, many people left it because of ideology. It will be interesting to see how the film performs during its OTT release.
