Nitin Nabin’s first speech after becoming the national president of BJP, he said – ‘Since the time of Jan Sangh…’

In his address, he described the paving of the way for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir as a historic achievement. He said that the people of Kashmir have felt this change and it is a matter of pride to see the tricolor hoisting at Lal Chowk in Srinagar today.

Comparison of past and present changes
Nitin Nabin said that there was a time when the situation in Kashmir was different and questions were raised on the silence of the Central Government. He said that after the removal of Article 370, there has been a positive change in the atmosphere of Kashmir.

Focus on upcoming elections
The new Speaker said that assembly elections are to be held in Tamil Nadu, Assam, West Bengal, Kerala and Puducherry in the next few months. He described the demographic changes in these states as a challenge for the party.
