In fact, without taking the name of Charanjit Singh Channi, Amarinder Singh said that Congress leaders should not talk about caste, religion and politics that divide people, because such politics is done by the Bharatiya Janata Party and not the Congress.

The three leaders said in the statement that Channi’s words have been deliberately distorted and earlier too an attempt has been made to create differences between Dalits and Jatt Sikhs.
