Situation is very serious in Iran
There has been huge loss of life and property during the ongoing protests in Iran. According to an American human rights organization, at least 4,519 people have died so far and more than 26,300 people have been arrested.
Why did the demonstrations start?
Demonstrations in Iran started in the last week of December. The reason for this is being said to be rising inflation and falling value of Iranian currency. Thousands of people are taking to the streets to protest against the government and demanding change. At the same time, the Iranian government has blamed America and Israel for these demonstrations.
