In the age of social media, rumors spread rapidly, especially when it comes to any big exam. These days, something similar was seen regarding JEE Main 2026 Session-1 also. The news of paper leak started going viral on social media platforms, which increased the concern among lakhs of students and their parents. Now the National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has clearly clarified its position on this entire matter.

NTA has termed all the news of paper leak of JEE Main 2026 Session-1 as completely wrong and misleading. The agency has said that do not trust such posts and messages circulating on social media. These rumors are being spread to mislead the students. According to NTA, the examination is being conducted in a completely safe manner and there is no such thing as paper leak.

Statement issued on the first day of the exam

This clarification was issued by NTA on the first day of JEE Main Session-1 examination. The examination has started from 21 January 2026 and will continue till 29 January 2026. Every day the examination is being conducted in two shifts. The first shift is from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main is included in the major engineering examinations of the country.

JEE Main is one of the most important engineering entrance examinations in the country. Through this, one can get admission in BE and B.Tech courses in IIT, NIT, Triple IT and many other government and private colleges. Every year lakhs of students appear in this examination. JEE Main 2026 session-2 will be held in April 2026.
