Ratha Saptami 2026 Tirumala: A grand celebration of the annual Ratha Saptami festival will be organized at Tirumala on January 25, 2026, in which more than two lakh devotees are expected to visit the hill temple. To control the crowd, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has announced cancellation of all Arjita services, special darshan and scheduled Sarva Darshan tokens between January 24 and 26.
TTD has decided to postpone all types of special darshan on the occasion of Rath Saptami, including for NRIs, parents with infants, senior citizens and disabled people. All the Arjita services like Kalyanotsav, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsav and Sahastra Deepalankara Seva will also not be organized on the occasion of this festival.
Preparations for organizing Rath Saptami 2026 Tirumala
During the Rath Saptami 2026 Tirumala event, all types of VIP darshan will be canceled except for special people coming under the protocol. TTD has also made it clear that no recommendation letter will be accepted for Sarva Darshan on January 24. The officials have laid special emphasis on the fact that this step has been taken to ensure easy darshan for the common devotees and to prevent crowding.
During the Annamayya Bhavan departmental review meeting, TTD officials were asked to ensure better arrangements for security, traffic, parking, queue management, cleanliness and emergency medical services. Cultural programs will be organized throughout the day and LED screens will also be installed in crowded areas to ensure devotee vehicle services.

Along with the Chakrasnanam ceremony, Lord Malayappa Swamy along with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi will be taken in procession on the 4 Mada roads surrounding the temple.

TTD Chairman BR Naidu and many officials including EO Anil Kumar Singhal have taken stock of the arrangements before the festival. To maintain the system, about 1300 policemen and 1200 TTD security personnel have been deployed. TTD has also set up 85 food counters in the gallery to provide food and water to the devotees.
The officials have requested the devotees coming for the festival to follow the guidelines. Cooperate with the security personnel and remain disciplined.
