Aadhaar Authentication History: Today, in almost every important task, it is the first thing that is asked from us. That is Aadhaar number. Somewhere KYC in bank, somewhere government scheme, somewhere mobile SIM and somewhere verification on some app. Gradually, Aadhaar has gone beyond our identity and has become our digital key. But this is where the biggest question arises. Do you really know where your Aadhaar is being used?

It is a matter of relief that UIDAI has provided such a system. Through this, you can check in minutes sitting at home, when, where and for what your Aadhaar was used.
How to see where Aadhaar has been used?
A special feature has been given on the website of UIDAI. Which is called Aadhaar Authentication History. This feature works just like call history in mobile. Here you can see when, on what date and for what type of verification your Aadhaar was used in the last few months. It contains records of authentication related to banks, government departments or any other service.
To check this, first go to the official website of UIDAI and click on the option of Aadhaar Authentication History. Now enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number and the security code shown on the screen. After this click on Send OTP. OTP will come on your registered mobile number. As soon as you enter the OTP, your entire history will open on the screen.
What to do if you see an incorrect entry?
Suppose you check the history and such a record appears in it. Which you never did. This is a clear indication that your Aadhaar has been used somewhere wrong. Delay in such cases can be harmful. The most important step is to inform UIDAI immediately. You can lodge a complaint by calling toll free number 1947.
Apart from this, you can also write the complete matter by sending an email to help@uidai.gov.in. Online complaint option is also available on UIDAI website. Where you can file complaint step by step. If needed, you can also temporarily lock your biometrics. No further verification can be done without your permission.
