Story
This is the story of the period of 1990 when there was political chaos in the country, the government was not stable and the country was facing economic crisis. This film shows that era in a wonderful way, watching this film you realize that there are such heroes in our country about whom we do not know. This film is about economy, hence it is technical, intelligent, it does not have those Bollywood spices. This is different, at some places it also gives the feel of docu drama but now the IBI Governor will not improve the economy by going shirtless and showing a six pack, so the mood of this film is like this and if you are fond of watching sensible and intelligent films, then you will like this film very much. The characters of the film seem quite real, there was no attempt to be over-dramatic, this subject has been handled with full responsibility. This film is not for everyone, lovers of masala films may find this film boring, but if you are interested in such subjects then you will find this film amazing. The only drawback of this film is that it gives a documentary feel at some places and things seem a little more complicated but it was necessary to show the economy like an economy but this thing reduces the commercial flavor of this film.
acting
Manoj Bajpayee is amazing, he looks like a governor of South Indian origin, his walking style, speaking style, body language, everything reminds you of a person from the South. The way he walks with a slight bow keeping in mind the age of the character, tells you how Manoj captures the pulse of every character. He is the life of this film, and he has performed this responsibility with full dedication. Ada Sharma has played the role of a journalist well, she leaves a mark even in small roles. Naushad Mohammad Kunju has given his life to the role of Deputy Governor. Madhu’s work is good, she is playing the role of Manoj Bajpayee’s wife. Paritosh Sand has done an amazing job, he is an important member of the RBI team and his role in the film is also very important, which he has played very well. The casting of the film has been done by Mukesh Chhabra and he has found amazing actors for every character.
