Actually, in the collector’s office, Collector Tina Dabi hoisted the tricolor and stood in the opposite direction, however, after a few moments, the soldier deployed for her security gestured to her and asked her to turn in the right direction. Immediately after this gesture, Tina Dabi turned in the right direction and sang the national anthem.

Collector Tina Dabi’s statement has also come out regarding this video. She said that during the hoisting of the flag in the Collectorate premises, there were employees standing on both sides of her, hence she stood sideways. He said that I had corrected my direction the very next moment, hence this is a normal incident and no one has been disrespected in this.
Republic Day celebrated with enthusiasm
Let us tell you that the 77th Republic Day was celebrated with traditional enthusiasm in Rajasthan on Monday (26 January). During this period, the tricolor was hoisted in the educational institutions and government buildings of the state and programs related to culture and patriotism were organized.
Governor Haribhau Bagde hoisted the flag in a state level function organized at SMS Stadium in Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie also participated in Republic Day celebrations at different places. After hoisting the tricolor, Governor Bagde inspected the parade and took the ‘guard of honour’.
