The final result of 70th BPSC was released on Saturday (June 20, 2026). As soon as the results came, there was a wave of happiness in Rajaun block of Banka district when two cousins ​​from the same family in Karsani village became BPSC officers in their first attempt. Gaurav Kumar Satyarthi and Kumari Swayam Prabha have brought glory to the district by passing this difficult examination. Both have been selected for the post of RDO/BDO.

After this double success, there is an atmosphere of celebration among his family members, teacher community and the entire village society. There is a rush of people congratulating the house.

​Parents of Gaurav Kumar Satyarthi, who secured 700th rank in this examination, Satyarthi Kumar Keshav and Reshmi Kumari, both are teachers. Gaurav’s early education was excellent. He passed 10th examination from DPS Bhagalpur in 2013 and 12th examination from JVM Shyamali, Ranchi in 2015. After this, he completed B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from the famous Jadavpur University of Kolkata and was serving as Assistant Manager in Indian Railway Construction since the year 2020.

Gaurav reached UPSC interview

Earlier, Gaurav had traveled till the interview round in the country’s toughest UPSC exam, where even after missing by a very small margin, he did not lose courage. Today he proved his mettle by cracking BPSC in his very first attempt.

On the other hand, Gaurav’s cousin sister Kumari Swayamprabha has also secured her place on the post of RDO/BDO by securing 1286th rank. Swayamprabha’s father Jaishankar Prasad Vidyarthi is also a teacher by profession and there has always been an atmosphere of education in his entire family. Swayamprabha completed her 10th standard from Uprama High School in 2014 and 12th standard from DN Singh College, Bhusia in 2016. After this, he did B.Sc. with Botany Honors from SM College Bhagalpur in the year 2019 and then obtained B.Ed degree from the same college in the year 2022.

On the basis of her educational qualification, she got success in BPSC TRE 2.0 (Teacher Reinstatement Examination) and currently she was working as a science teacher of class 9-10 in Udhadih High School, Sultanganj block of Bhagalpur district. Amidst the busy responsibilities of teaching children in school, he took out time to prepare for BPSC and achieved the honor of becoming an officer in the very first chance. These two promising students from the same teacher family have proved that if the intentions are strong, even with a job, great success can be achieved in the first time.
