Team India had scored 99 runs in the first 10 overs, but in the 11th over, Tatenda Chimugoro dismissed captain Ayush Mhatre and then Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the same over. Mhatre scored 21 runs, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi was out after scoring 52 runs. Aaron George along with Vaibhav gave a bright start to Team India. There was a partnership of 44 runs in 25 balls for the first wicket.
Till now the Indian team has been unbeaten in the Under-19 World Cup 2026. By winning all three of its matches, it topped Group B and made it to the Super-6 stage. In the matches of Group B, Team India had defeated the teams of New Zealand, Bangladesh and USA.
Let us tell you that India is the most successful team in the history of Under-19 World Cup, which has won the trophy by becoming world champion five times. Second place in this list is Australia, which has become world champion at Under-19 level 4 times.
