In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan has been acquitted by the court on charges of gangrape of a minor. Responding to which, Samajwadi Party MP from Sambhal Zia ur Rehman Burke has raised questions on the UP government. He said, “This government already decides who is guilty and who is a criminal, whereas today the truth has come to light.”
The SP MP said, “We respect the decision of the judiciary, the government already declares people as criminals and runs the bulldozers. In such a situation, my demand is that dismissal action should be taken against all the officers who had given the order to run the bulldozers.”
BJP MP Jagdambika Pal has defended the government on this matter. He said that this is the court’s decision. But there is zero tolerance for crime in our government. One more thing is confirmed by this that SP protects such people.
What was the whole matter?
This matter came to light on July 29, 2024, when the victim became pregnant and a case of gang rape was registered in Bhadarsa police station area. In this case, a case was registered against Moeed Khan and his servant Raju Khan under the POCSO Act. Moeed Khan was the former city president of SP and is considered close to MP Awadhesh Prasad. That’s why the matter escalated. SP had also come under target.
Bulldozer action on Moeed Khan
The strictness of the Yogi government was clearly visible in this matter. The police administration ran a bulldozer on Moeed Khan’s bakery and mine complex. Along with sending him to jail, he was also accused of gangster. Even then SP had opposed the bulldozer action.
No evidence found against Moeed Khan
13 witnesses appeared in the court in this case, but no evidence was found against Moeed Khan. Not only this, the DNA test of the fetus came negative. On which the court acquitted him. There has been a DNA match of his servant Raju. On which the court will pronounce the sentence on Thursday. After the court’s decision, Yogi government has come under the target of SP.
