On Monday, earthquake tremors of magnitude 5.2 were felt in the Hindu Kush area of Afghanistan. According to the US Geological Survey i.e. USGS, an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude occurred in the Hindu Kush area of Afghanistan on Monday. This earthquake occurred at around 2.52 pm local time. USGS said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 207 kilometers from the ground. There is no news of any casualty or any kind of damage after the earthquake.
What other information did the National Disaster Management give?
The National Disaster Management Authority has recently announced that the work of breaking a large and dangerous stone will start in Sarkhan Khil village of Farza district of Kabul.
The authority informed that this stone of approximately 250 cubic meters size was posing a threat to the life and property of more than 100 families. Officials said that the work of breaking stones has started with the help of technical and engineering teams. Necessary measures have been taken to protect the local people from any kind of harm during this process.
