Film screening postponed
Now the country is in mourning over the sudden demise of former Lok Sabha MP Ajit Pawar. In such a situation, the makers have postponed the screening of the film for the time being. Expressing grief over the untimely demise of former Lok Sabha MP Ajit Pawar, the makers on social media announced postponement of the screening of the film scheduled for January 30.
Expressing condolences, the makers wrote, ‘In view of the untimely demise of Shri Ajit Pawar ji and the period of mourning in the state, the special screening of Rang De Basanti scheduled on 30th January is postponed. In this hour of grief, we join the nation in mourning and express our deepest condolences.
Actors expressed grief
Actors like Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Ritesh Deshmukh expressed grief over the demise of Ajit Pawar. Ajay Devgan had posted and written, ‘I am shocked and saddened by the tragic demise of Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. My heartfelt condolences to his family, Om Shanti. Whereas Ritesh Deshmukh wrote- I am shocked by Ajit Dada’s sudden demise in an accident. My heart is broken.
