Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra starrer film Varanasi will be released worldwide in theaters on 7 April 2027.
A day before announcing the confirmed date, the makers put up several hoardings in Banaras and informed that the release date of the film is not going to be postponed. There was speculation for a long time that the release of the film might be delayed.
Today, the entire star cast including director SS Rajamouli of the film announced the release through social media.

Budget of ‘Varanasi’ film
‘Varanasi’ is said to be one of the most expensive films of Indian cinema till date. According to the report, this film has been made with a budget of Rs 1300 crore and it is being seen as a film that sets a benchmark in Indian cinema.

- According to Koimoi, Varanasi, which will be released in 2027, can break the opening day record of ‘Pushpa 2’, whose Hindi version had a net opening of Rs 72 crore.
