Sharp reactions are being seen in the country’s politics regarding a statement by former Vice President Hamid Ansari. The statement given by him during an interview that the foreign invaders and robbers mentioned in the history books were actually Indians. In this series, Samajwadi Party MLA Ravidas Mehrotra has given his reaction on this issue. He said that only historians can provide correct guidance.

Samajwadi Party MLA Ravidas Mehrotra, while talking to news agency IANS, said that if someone has a different opinion regarding the facts related to history or someone talks about change, then only historians can provide correct guidance in this matter. He said that the understanding of common Indians is that foreigners attacked India and looted the country.

The condition of roads in the entire state is bad – Ravidas Mehrotra

In response to a question, Ravidas Mehrotra also targeted the BJP government on the current political and administrative situation of Uttar Pradesh. He alleged that the condition of roads in the entire state is bad, people are not even getting access to clean drinking water and most of the development works have come to a standstill. He said that there is huge resentment among the public, due to which the ministers and MLAs of the BJP government are avoiding facing the people.

The SP MLA further said that instead of solving the problems of the public, the ministers and MLAs of the BJP government are busy fighting with each other and trying to mislead the public. According to him, the situation in the state is clearly visible that there is tremendous anger against the BJP government not only among the public but also among the MLAs themselves. He said that at some places the public is gheraoing the MLAs, while at other places the MLAs are opening a front against the ministers.

There is no solid system called government in Uttar Pradesh – Ravidas Mehrotra

Ravidas Mehrotra raised questions on the governance system of the state and said that it seems that there is no solid system left in the name of government in Uttar Pradesh. Alleging misuse of budget money, he said that no concrete work is visible at the ground level.
