Patron of Jamiat Dawatul Muslimeen and the country’s famous Deobandi Ulema Maulana Qari Ishaq Gora has expressed serious concern over the current situation of the society. In a video message released on Sunday (February 1), he said that the large number of cases of domestic disputes, divorce, family feuds and mutual disputes involving Muslims coming to light in police stations and courts is a matter of shame for the entire society.
Maulana Qari Ishaq Gora said that he feels very sad when people ask him why the cases of Muslims are seen the most in police stations and courts. He clearly said that this situation is a matter of concern for any responsible and aware citizen. According to him, the biggest reason for this is the lack of proper education and good values in the society.
He said that with time we are moving away from our religious and moral values. Instead of proper education, understanding and good behavior, we have adopted false traditions and wrong customs. The result of this is that small issues at home turn into big fights and the matter directly reaches the police and court.
Qari Ishaq Gora warned
Qari Ishaq Gora also said that people often blame others instead of accepting their mistakes. We hold the situation, system and government responsible, but do not pay attention to our behavior and thinking. He warned that if this situation continues then the coming generations will question us as to what kind of legacy we have given them.
‘A nation does not move forward with slogans alone’
He said that no nation moves forward just by slogans, but by knowledge, character and morality. If there is mutual respect, patience and understanding in the society, then disputes will automatically reduce. At the end of his message, Maulana Qari Ishaq Gora appealed to all Muslims to introspect. He said that today the most important need is to improve oneself, focus on education and proper upbringing of children.
iIn recent years, many social reports and court statistics of the country have revealed that the number of domestic disputes and family matters is continuously increasing. Social experts also believe that lack of education, awareness and communication is becoming a major cause of disputes. In such a situation, this message of Qari Ishaq Gora is being considered to show a mirror to the society, which can inspire people to understand their responsibilities and take steps towards improvement.
