An important update has come out for the students preparing for CUET UG 2026. Now one more chance has been given to those students whose application could not be completed due to some reason. The National Testing Agency has extended the last date of application for CUET UG 2026, which has brought relief to lakhs of students.
The online application process for CUET UG 2026 was already going on, but a large number of students had demanded extension of time. Considering the problems of the students, NTA has decided to extend the last date of application. Now candidates can fill the CUET UG 2026 form till 11:50 pm on 4th February 2026. This decision will benefit those students who were not able to apply on time due to technical reasons, payment failure or other problems.
In the revised schedule released by NTA, the last date for online application has been fixed as 4 February 2026. After this, students will get time till 7 February 2026 to deposit the application fee. And to make improvements in the application, the correction window will be opened from 9 to 11 February 2026. The examination will likely be conducted in May 2026.
Which students will get the benefit of extended date?
The benefit of extended application date will be available to all those students whose applications were incomplete, whose fees could not be deposited on time or who faced technical problems related to the website. Apart from this, those students can also apply now who were not able to fill the form earlier due to some reason. Also, NTA has advised the students not to wait for the last moment and complete the application process in time. While filling the form, check all the information carefully, so that there is no need for correction later. Also, candidates must keep checking the notices issued from time to time on the official website. After completing the application process, candidates must login to their dashboard and check the application status. In case of any mistake or incomplete information, use the correction window at the right time, so that there is no problem in the admit card or examination in future.
