In which foreign language courses is admission available?
Campus of Open Learning (COL) has started admissions for one-year certificate and diploma courses. Under these courses, students will be able to learn many famous foreign languages. The languages ​​included are German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. These courses will be conducted in collaboration with the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies and the Department of East Asian Studies of Delhi University.

According to COL Director Professor, Open Learning Development Center (OLDC) will soon start these foreign language programs in online mode also. With this, students living in different states of the country will also be able to study from home by taking admission in these courses. Starting the online facility will also benefit those people who are not able to attend regular classes due to their job.
Russian language courses will also start
Delhi University is going to further expand the scope of its language education. The university will soon start one-year certificate and diploma courses in Russian language also. These programs will be started in collaboration with the University’s Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies. These Russian language courses will be available in both classroom and online mediums.
Admission will be available in these professional courses also
Apart from foreign language programmes, admissions are also being started in many professional courses under the Campus of Open Learning. The application process for these courses will start from June 17, 2026. The major courses included in these are Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc), Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLISc) and Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Digital Media Leadership (PGDADLM).

When did the applications start and what is the last date?
The application process for foreign language courses has started from 11th June 2026. Candidates can apply till 12 midnight of 10th July 2026. In such a situation, students are advised not to wait for the last date and complete their application on time.
