Before the T20 World Cup 2026, Team India has to play two warm-up matches, for which the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the ‘A’ squad of Team India on Monday (02 February). The Delhi player has been made the captain of India’s A team. Apart from this, Tilak Verma has also returned. Tilak’s return is great news for the fans and Team India.

After surgery, Tilak Verma has been cleared to return to the team. Tilak will play for India A in the matches against USA, after which he will join the senior team.

When and where will India’s two warm-up matches be held?
So let us tell you that India has to play two warm-up matches against USA and Namibia. The match against America will be played on Monday (02 February) i.e. today at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai from 5 pm. After this, the second match will be held on Friday (06 February) against Namibia at the Center of Excellence.
