UP government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar said that Panchayat elections will be held in the state even before the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. Om Prakash Rajbhar further said that only elections will be held after the completion of the SIR process. There is talk that Panchayat elections will be held between April and July 2026. Only when the elections are announced, the dates will also be announced.
