The SIT has submitted the preliminary report to the Principal Secretary Home in the alleged Ram Temple scam case in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, but the residents of Ayodhya along with the saints are expressing doubts about the SIT investigation. Karpatri Maharaj has demanded to register a case in this matter first and get the matter investigated by CBI.
While the SIT was present in the premises, Santosh Dubey, head of the Hindu Dharma Sena and former kar sevak, associated with the Ram Mandir movement, filed a complaint to register an FIR at the Ram Janmabhoomi police station. In this complaint, he had filed a complaint against Ram Janmabhoomi Trust General Secretary Champat Rai Bansal, Anil Mishra, Gopal Rao and Champat Rai’s driver Ram Shankar Yadav alias Tinnu and demanded strict action, but still neither FIR has been registered nor any action has been taken, after which now they are also alleging that why is there no FIR till now?
Harishankar Safri made serious allegations
Harishankar Safri, a resident of Ayodhya, also made serious allegations against Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust and said that Champat Rai had taken over his Panchayati temple. They alleged that the idols and ornaments present in the temple were missing and the FIR was not registered due to their pressure. He tried to meet the SIT but did not meet the team members, hence he is disappointed.

According to the information, Harishankar Panch Pramukh alleged that earlier Sant Ram Gopal Das was the owner of Ram Niwas Temple. Later five people including Harihar Das, Harishankar Singh Safriwala, Rajkumar Pandey and Dudhnath Singh became its members. New members were formed after the death of four people, in which Dev Narayan Tiwari, Shikha Pandey, Ruby Safriwala, Chandrashekhar and Harishankar Safriwala became new members in 2019. The one whom the priest made a Mahant, captured the villa in earnest by attaching documents of possession of it. The idols, ornaments were missing and the office was captured.
Champat Rai captured without notice
After the transaction of Rs. 22 on 22 December 2022, Champat Rai took possession without informing the Panch Committee. In protest against this, the aggrieved party tried to register an FIR and also stood up to meet the SIT, but all efforts failed and now they are disappointed and demanding action. On the other hand, Kamal Nayan Das, disciple of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, also did not express confidence in the investigation and raised objection on the rate of the lands.
There is talk of not receiving the receipt for the offerings in Ayodhya’s Ram temple and Champat Rai attending the program during the investigation. It remains to be seen what form the next picture will take so that the public can be satisfied.
