Anurag Singh directed ‘Border 2’ hit the theaters on January 23. After coming on the big screen, the story of the film and the performance of its star cast were highly praised and with this, the film earned more than Rs 200 crore in the first week itself. Then even on the second weekend, this film was successful in attracting the audience to the theaters but as soon as it entered the weekdays, its earnings got a big blow. - After which the total collection of this film in 11 days has now become Rs 281 crore.

Although the earnings of ‘Border 2’ declined on the 11th day, it still beat the lifetime collections of many films. According to the report of Film Beat, it has defeated the lifetime earnings of ‘Kabir Singh’ of Rs. 278.8 crores, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ of Rs. 277.75 crores and ‘Tiger 3’ of Rs. 276.62 crores.
How far is ‘Border 2’ from making Rs 300 crore?
‘Border 2’ has performed well till the second weekend and for the first time, a huge decline is being seen in its collections on the second Monday. However, this film is fast moving towards making Rs 300 crore in India. It just needs to earn Rs 19 crore more. It is expected that this week the film will cross this milestone and it will enter the Rs 300 crore club.

Apart from Sunny, this war drama directed by Anurag Singh also stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. It was released in theaters on 23 January. Border 2 is the sequel to the 1997 blockbuster film Border. It has been produced by T-Series and Jaypee Films. It also stars Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Pranab Vashishtha and Medha Rana in important roles. The 1997 film was based on the events of the Battle of Longewala during the India-Pakistan War of 1971, Border 2 is also based on the backdrop of the same conflict.

Recently, Sunny Deol celebrated the success of Border 2 by dancing heartily with his team. On his Instagram stories, Sunny shared a video of himself and his team, in which they were seen happily celebrating the success of their latest release. In the clip, Sunny sang a song with the team and cut the cake.
Earlier, Sunny had shared a video on her social media, in which she thanked her fans and followers for the response she received on Border 2. He posted a clip on Instagram with a message. He wrote in the caption, “Thank you very much to all of you for giving so much love to my, your, our Border 2.”
