Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has made serious allegations against BJP and the administration regarding Form-7 which removes names from the voter list. Akhilesh Yadav said that he had to leave the Lok Sabha and come forward on this issue because the biggest weapon of democracy, vote, is being directly attacked.
Akhilesh alleged that BJP is conspiring on a large scale to get the names of PDA voters removed from the voter list. He said that as soon as this information was received, Samajwadi Party lodged a complaint through social media and also informed the Election Commission in writing.
Akhilesh Yadav made this claim
Akhilesh Yadav claimed that it started from Sitapur, then complaints came from Ghaziabad to Ghazipur and from all those areas where BJP has lost the elections. He said that in many cases the complainant is not educated, but Form-7 signed in his name was submitted.
‘More than 100 Form-7 submitted in the name of one person’
He alleged that more than 100 Form-7s have been submitted in the name of one person Dashrath Kumar. It was also claimed that a large number of Form-7 forms were deposited in Sarojini Nagar seat of Lucknow. An attempt was made to cut 300 votes out of 400 at one booth.
‘Some IAS sitting in CM office are putting pressure on officers’
Akhilesh Yadav said that all this is being done through pen drive, in which the details of voters are being given to DM and Commissioner. He alleged that some IAS officers sitting in the CM office are pressurizing the field officers, so much so that at many places the votes of BLOs were canceled.
‘Akhilesh Yadav made this demand from the Election Commission’
The SP President has demanded from the Election Commission that paper Form-7 should be abolished, each form should have a unique number and a hologram of ECI, all Form-7s submitted till now should be cancelled, there should be a judicial inquiry into the entire matter, verification should be done with the help of AI and CCTV footage, FIR against the culprits, Section 420 and conspiracy case should be registered against the state.
Akhilesh Yadav said that this is a conspiracy not just of Uttar Pradesh but of the entire country and Mamata Banerjee is facing a similar situation in Bengal. He claimed that a target has been set to cut about 1 crore 99 thousand 710 votes and also counted the names of many assembly constituencies. Akhilesh Yadav has appealed to the public and PDA watchdog to collect as much evidence as possible. He said, consider Voter ID as citizen ID. How will democracy survive if there are no votes left?
