The trailer of Taapsee Pannu starrer film ‘Assi’ has been released. One tagline of this trailer is ‘That night she did not reach home’, from this it is understood what this story will be. What is the story?
From the trailer it can be understood that this is the story of a rape victim, who is coming home at night and on the way some people take her in a car and rape her and throw her away. After this, the courtroom drama begins which can shake everyone’s mind. This film will touch an untouched aspect of the society in which how rape cases are dismissed in the court, even many cases are not registered. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether Taapsee will be able to get justice for her client or rather a rape victim or not!
When will it be released?
This film is going to be released in theaters on 20th February. Apart from Taapsee, Zeeshan Ayyub Khan, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa, Naseeruddin Shah, Revati and Kani Kusriti will be seen in important roles in the film.
