From veteran Malayalam actor Mammootty to playback singer Alka Yagnik, R Madhavan, many famous personalities are being honored with the Padma Award today i.e. on 23rd June. He is being given this honor for his contribution to the entertainment industry. President Draupadi Murmu is presenting the Padma Award to him in a ceremony organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Malayalam industry’s veteran actor Mammootty was honored with Padma Bhushan. Mammootty greeted PM Narendra Modi before receiving the award. During this time his son Dulquer Salmaan was also seen. Actor Anil Kumar Rastogi was awarded Padma Shri. Anil Kumar has given 1000 performances in more than 100 plays. He has worked in more than 75 feature films.
Satish Shah got the honor
Actor Satish Shah was posthumously awarded Padma Shri. Satish Shah had a long career of 4 decades. His brother accepted this honour.
Actor Maganti Murali Mohan got the honor
Actor Maganti Murali Mohan received the Padma Shri award. He has worked in more than 350 films.

Late actor Dharmendra was honored with Padma Vibhushan

This honor was accepted by his second wife Hema Malini. During this time his daughter Ahana was also seen. Apart from this, actor Prosenjit Chatterjee was honored with Padma Shri.
