PM Modi’s speech in Lok Sabha postponed, entire day’s proceedings postponed due to uproar

After the uproar by the opposition in the House, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha have been adjourned till 11 am on Thursday. Along with this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech has also been postponed. Prime Minister Modi was to reply to the discussion on the motion of thanks at 5 pm today. Earlier, there was a huge uproar in the House, after which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had to adjourn the proceedings of the House at 12 o’clock, then at 2 o’clock, and then till 5 in the evening.

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi said, ‘He (PM Modi) got scared and that is why he did not come to the House. Union Railway Minister and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey ran away like a bullet train.

Ravneet Bittu’s reply to Rahul Gandhi’s statement

Meanwhile, Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu gave a sharp reaction to the remarks made by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament complex. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi was going to physically attack him.

Talking to news agency IANS, Ravneet Singh Bittu said, ‘Today even a street goon will not do what Rahul Gandhi did. When I didn’t shake hands, he was about to attack me. KC Venugopal and other Congress leaders caught Rahul Gandhi. If they had not caught him, I don’t know what would have happened.

He further said, ‘If Rahul Gandhi had come to attack, even my hands would not have been tied.’ The Union Minister told that after the debate he went inside. But the question is how can he say wrong words and say that you will come to me again. Ravneet Singh Bittu said, ‘Rahul Gandhi is under misunderstanding. BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have honored me and made me sit in front of Congress leaders. He (Rahul Gandhi) is pained by this. Seeing me in front of him hurts every day. That pain was clearly visible in Rahul Gandhi’s words and physically today.
