While another advocate Pravesh Maurya has been referred to the Higher Center in a critical condition. There is chaos among the family members after the incident. The family members have told about a conspiracy to murder. At present, the police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and started investigation.
Both of them were returning from a wedding ceremony, during which they started drinking alcohol and their condition deteriorated very soon. Empty bottles and a suspicious bottle have been recovered from the spot. Which has been sent to the lab for testing.
What is the whole matter?
Khatima resident BJP leader Dhillu Singh Rana and advocates Malkit Singh Rana and Pravesh Maurya were returning from village Sejna for a wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, as soon as he bought a bottle of liquor from the liquor distillery located in Kanjabagh and sat near Janaki Mandap and started drinking, his health suddenly deteriorated. Quoting sources, it has come to light that at the place where all three were sitting and drinking alcohol, instead of a water bottle, a bottle of some poisonous substance was found.
Police started investigation
As soon as information about the incident was received, police and administration reached the spot and started investigating the matter. At present, the actual cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report and forensic investigation. According to officials, investigation is still going on. Further action will be taken only after the report.
There is an uproar among the family members, they have expressed fear of murder. But no one has filed a named complaint yet. Whereas some people are citing illegal liquor in the area as the reason.
