There is a heated situation in Rajasthan Congress these days, former Rajasthan Minister Ramesh Meena has challenged former Chief Minister of the state Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday. He said, “If there is any evidence that he had taken Rs 10 crore during the political crisis of 2020”, then his ‘narco test’ should be conducted.
Responding to the allegations of the Gehlot camp, Meena said that some MLAs who rebelled against the then Gehlot-led Congress government had taken Rs 10 crore each as part of a deal to topple the government. Meena challenged to prove this allegation.

At the farmers’ conference in Karauli, Meena said that whenever Congress seems to be getting political lead, such allegations are made again and again. Meena, who was among the rebel MLAs, denied the allegation and said that he was ready to undergo a ‘narco analysis test’.
He said, ‘I challenge them to get my narco test done if Ramesh Meena takes Rs 10 crore. Besides, you should also undergo narco test to find out how much money you had given to Independent, Bharat Tribal Party and BJP MLAs. We also have the documents. Meena claimed that whenever Congress seems to be moving forward, such allegations are made again and again.
Former minister gave advice to Rahul Gandhi
He said that Ashok Gehlot was made the Chief Minister (by the party) thrice but under his leadership the Congress had to face electoral defeat. He urged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to assess his advisors correctly. He said that Gandhi is working among the people and fighting for their issues but they should trust the honest party workers.
Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena accused of corruption
The former minister has also targeted Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena over alleged corruption in the Agriculture Department. Meena questioned the accountability of the minister and alleged that corruption had affected the supply of seeds and agricultural materials to farmers.
