After the success of ‘Aashiqui’, Rahul Roy’s demand had skyrocketed. In an interview given to Bollywood Hungama, he himself told that he had signed 47 films in just 11 days. The interesting thing is that he got only 30 thousand rupees for his debut film and after that suddenly everything changed. New beginning with TV and Bigg Boss
After facing difficulties in films, Rahul Roy turned towards TV. He worked in shows like ‘Karisma: The Miracles of Destiny’ and ‘Kaise Kahoon’ and tried to prove himself again. The big turning point in Rahul’s career came in the year 2006 when he participated in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ and also won its title. This victory once again brought him into the limelight.

Rahul’s personal life has also not been easy. In the year 2000, he married fashion model Rajlakshmi Khanvilkar. But both of them got divorced in 2014.
