Bollywood Hungama quoted the source as saying, ‘Battle of Galvan was scheduled to release on April 17. But the shoot has not been completed yet. The re-shoot is taking longer than expected. There is a one week schedule from Monday 9th February. This shoot will take place at the Golden Tobacco Factory in Mumbai. After the completion of this schedule, there will be a schedule for a few more days till the end of February.
The source further said, ‘Director Apoorva Lakhia will also start editing the re-shoot portion. Not only this, according to the rules, the Battle of Galwan will also be shown to the Ministry of Defense and this entire process may take time. Due to these two reasons, the makers feel that they will not be able to meet the deadline of April 17. Salman Khan is clear that such a special, patriotic film should be treated well. He has told the team not to rush. Take your time and ensure that the final product is appealing and cinematic.
He further wrote, ‘For this reason, Salman Khan and Apoorva Lakhia are thinking of postponing the film. He has yet to take the final call. Salman bhai is unpredictable. Despite the circumstances, they may release the film on April 17. But its chances seem less. The situation will become clearer in a few days.
