The release date of Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has been changed. Earlier this film was scheduled to be released in theaters on 15 May 2026. But now it has been preponed to 10 April 2026.
Why was Bhoot Bangla preponed?
According to a source related to the film, the decision to postpone the release date was taken due to the tremendous excitement of the audience. Seeing the huge interest of the audience and the continuously increasing demand of fans for the film, Akshay Kumar decided to prepone the release date of Bhoot Bangla. The objective was to deliver the film to the audience at the right time, instead of keeping it delayed.
Bhoot Bungalow has been in the news since its beginning. Fans are excited to see Akshay Kumar back in this genre-driven entertainer. The change in release date is being considered as a strategic move, so that the film gets the benefit of reaching the audience in theaters at the right time and crowding at the box office can be avoided. Under this strategy, Akshay Kumar is ensuring that each of his films gets adequate theatrical run, so that the audience can fully enjoy the box office journey of the film.
Akshay Kumar called Salman
Whereas Bollywood Hungama quoted the source and wrote – Akshay Kumar had called Salman Khan before preponing the release of the film. Akshay and Salman are friends and share their decisions with each other. They are very transparent with each other. Their relationship is not like that of the new-age generation, who hide things from each other. Akshay asked Salman whether Battle of Galwan is coming on 17th April. Salman confirmed that things are difficult due to pending approval from the Ministry of Defence. This was a very good conversation. There is no competition between them at all. They both respect each other a lot. Praying for each other’s success. Don’t be surprised if the right script brings them together in a two-hero film.
Akshay Kumar, Vamika Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav are in lead roles in the film. The film has been directed by Priyadarshan. The producers of the film are Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta R Kapoor. The film will be released in theaters on 10 April 2026.
