Batting first, Australia scored 196 runs. Bangladesh’s openers Tanjid Hasan and Saif Hasan had made a bright start, both of them made a partnership of 48 runs in 22 balls for the first wicket. Matt Renshaw took the first wicket as Tanjid, after this Soumya Sarkar became the victim of Adam Zampa after scoring 15 runs.

There was a partnership of 57 runs for the third wicket between Parvez Hussain Amon and Saif, after which it seemed that Bangladesh would win the match. This pair was broken by Aaron Hardy, he dismissed Eamon (36).

Tauheed Hirdoy’s struggle, but could not bring victory

In the end, captain Tauheed Hirdoy struggled and scored 35 runs in 22 balls, but it was not enough to win. Bangladesh had to score 23 runs in the last over to win, Aaron Hardy took one wicket in the form of Hridoy in this over and gave 15 runs. Australia won the match by 7 runs.

Australia batted first and scored 196 runs, in which Matt Reson played a brilliant inning of 89 runs. He remained unbeaten. He hit 5 sixes and 4 fours in this innings played in 52 balls. Apart from this, Tim David also played a brilliant inning of 45 runs in 26 balls, in which he hit 4 sixes and 2 fours.
