Amidst the tension between the ruling party and the opposition in Parliament, according to sources, the Congress party is preparing to bring a no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. On which Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav has given his reaction. He told that if no-confidence motion is brought by the opposition then what will be the stand of SP.
SP’s stance on no-confidence motion
SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav, while talking to reporters on Tuesday, said that if the opposition parties bring a no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, then SP will support it in the House. He said that our party will support the no-confidence motion.
Statement of Congress MP Pramod Tiwari
This statement has come from Congress MP Pramod Tiwari. He said, “Under the Constitution of India, a no-confidence motion can be brought against the Speaker, but it can be done as a last option. I can only say that we will try our best that such a situation never comes, but when it comes, we will definitely be the first to come in front of the media and tell it. But this will be our last option.
On the letter written by BJP MPs to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the Congress leader said that now the children of villages and cities of India are laughing that the Prime Minister with a 56-inch chest got scared, got nervous after three women MPs came into the well… He was not afraid of women, he was afraid of ‘Trump Papa’. What will he say on the India-America deal? He has completely surrendered.
Questions raised on Om Birla’s behavior
Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput also raised questions on Om Birla’s behavior and said that the way Om Birla is behaving is surprising, it is weakening the reputation of democracy. His behavior consistently remains step-motherly towards the opposition. Opposition MPs are not allowed to speak. It is a serious matter for democracy that if the chairperson of the House behaves like a step-mother to her children, then how will the House run.
Let us tell you that there is a deadlock between the ruling party and the opposition parties in the Lok Sabha. The Congress party has announced that until Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi is not allowed to speak, the Congress MPs will allow the proceedings of the House to continue. According to sources, the opposition parties are also preparing to bring a no-confidence motion against the Speaker.
