MG Motor has officially introduced its new premium three-row SUV MG Majestor in the Indian market. The company has started its pre-booking with a token amount of Rs 41,000. Prices will be announced in April 2026, while deliveries are expected to begin from May 2026. This SUV will come in three variants like Sharp, Savvy and Savvy 4X4. Let us know in detail.
Pre-booking offers and segment positioning
The company has announced a special offer for the first 3,000 customers. They will get free 5 years unlimited kilometer warranty, 5 years roadside assistance and 5 years labour-free service contract. MG claims that the Majestor is India’s first D+ SUV and is the longest, widest and tallest vehicle in its class. It will compete with Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and Volkswagen Taron R-Line.
Powerful engine and off-road capability
MG Majestor has a 2.0 liter twin-turbo diesel engine, which generates power of 215 bhp and torque of 478 Nm. It is equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV has features like standard AWD system, 10 drive modes through ‘M-Hub’, ‘M-Crawl’ function, three differential locks and low-speed transfer case.
Premium interior and advanced features
The interior of the new Majestor is quite premium. It has a 12.3-inch free-floating infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and a new center console. The SUV has features like panoramic sunroof, 12-speaker JBL audio system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 360-degree HD camera, level-2 ADAS, six airbags and electronic stability control. Heated, cooled and massage function is also provided in the driver seat.
Sporty design and attractive look
Talking about design, Majestor looks sportier and stronger than Gloster. It has a new grille, split-style headlamps, LED DRLs and 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Connected LED tail lamps and new bumper have been provided at the rear. This SUV will be available in colors like Metal Ash, Pearl White, Metal Black and Concrete Grey.
