Sanju Samson was leading the team for the last several seasons, who has gone to Chennai Super Kings through trade before the 19th season of IPL. The team has not handed over the command to the experienced player Ravindra Jadeja, who came to Rajasthan from CSK, Ryan Parag has been appointed as the captain.
Riyan Parag captained in 3 matches of the last edition of IPL because Sanju Samson was not fit. When Parag captained the team for the first time on March 23, 2026, in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he became the youngest player to captain this team.
