With the commencement of Rapid Rail, the entire 82 km distance from Delhi to Meerut will be connected with end-to-end high speed connectivity for the first time. Till now people were troubled by traffic, jam and excessive travel time. But now this journey will be reduced to about 55 minutes. Sarai Kale Khan Rapid Rail will start from 22nd February
The last phase of Namo Bharat Rapid Rail between Sarai Kale Khan to Meerut is going to start from 22nd February. As soon as this section becomes operational, passengers will be able to travel without interruption to Modipuram, Meerut by taking Namo Bharat train directly from Sarai Kale Khan station. Now there will be no need to change different modes of transport or decide on long road routes.

Delhi to Meerut in 55 minutes
Now the distance from Sarai Kale Khan to Meerut can be covered by rapid rail in about 55 to 60 minutes. The journey which earlier used to drag on for one and a half to two hours. This means that after reaching Meerut from Namo Bharat, local movement will also be very easy. Office commute, college travel and business visits will now be possible more easily.
