National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam schedule for Common University Entrance Test Post Graduate (CUET PG) 2026. If you have applied for CUET PG 2026, then you must know all the important information related to this exam like exam dates, shift timings, list of subjects and subject code etc. This schedule has been released on the official website of NTA on February 14, 2026.
CUET PG 2026 will be conducted from March 6 to March 27, 2026. Along with other important information related to the examination, it has also been told how the examination will be conducted and what will be the timing of each shift.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Dates
CUET PG 2026 exam will start from 6th March 2026 and will continue till 27th March 2026. During this period, the examination will be conducted in two to three shifts every day. Candidates must carefully check their exam date and shift during this time period so that they can appear at the exam center on time.
Registration and Correction Process
The registration process for CUET PG 2026 ran from 14 December 2025 to 25 January 2026. After this, a modification window was also opened for the candidates who wanted to make any changes in their application, which was available from January 28 to January 30, 2026.
Mode of examination and time limit
CUET PG 2026 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates will get total time of 90 minutes during the examination. The examination will be conducted in two to three shifts every day. In which Shift 1 is from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, Shift 2 is from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm and Shift 3 is from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The duration of each shift will be 90 minutes, in which candidates will have to answer questions related to their subject.
Subject and number of candidates
CUET PG 2026 exam will be conducted for a total of 157 different postgraduate (PG) subjects. A total of 4,11,366 candidates have registered for this examination. Candidates will be allowed to appear for a maximum of four examination papers, for which they can select the subject of their choice. NTA has released the detailed exam schedule including exam date, shift timings, subject name and subject code. Candidates are advised to read the examination schedule carefully and prepare accordingly. For some subjects, question papers will be in English only, while for most other subjects, question papers will be available in both English and Hindi languages. Question papers of language related subjects will be in the respective language only.
City Information Slip and Updates
City information slip for CUET PG 2026 will be released on NTA website approximately 10 days before the exam date. In this slip, candidates will be given information about the city of their examination centre.
