There was a huge decline in the Indian stock market on the trading day of Friday, 13 February. Major benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 had turned red like tomatoes. Sensex fell by 1048.16 points or 1.25 percent to 82,626.76 points, while NSE Nifty 50 slipped by 336.10 points or 1.30 percent and ended the trading day at 25,471.10.

Bajaj Finance and SBIN were the top gainers from BSE basket. Talking about the top losers, there were Eternal, Tata Steel, Titan, TCS and Power Grid.

There was a decline in the shares of Nifty 100, Nifty Bank, Nifty FMCG, Nifty Midcap 100, Nifty Smallcap 100, Nifty Auto and Nifty IT. On Friday’s trading day, only 2 shares from the BSE basket closed in the green and 28 shares recorded a decline.
