Please tell that Irrfan Khan, who was a co-star of Deepika Padukone in Piku, was detected of neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and died in 2020 at the age of 53.

Piku was released on 8 May 2015. Directed by Shoojit Sarkar, the comedy drama stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in the lead roles, with Moushumi Chatterjee, Jishu Sengupta and Raghubir Yadav. The film received a great review from the audience and critics and it was a commercial hit. It earned more than Rs 140 crore worldwide as compared to its budget of Rs 40 crore.
Directed by Shoojit Sarkar, the film revolves around Deepika Padukone’s ‘Piku’ and his old but irritable father Bhaskar Banerjee (Amitabh Bachchan), who come close to each other through the road trip from Delhi to Kolkata despite their different ideologies and quarrels over small things. Irfan Khan plays a taxi business honor Rana Chaudhary, who runs a car himself in this road trip.
